So how is it that we make art really? Why must we get inspired by something, otherwise our piece will not have that "thing" that makes it special, that which makes it unique? I would hate to think that a certain artist I admire would had simply "gone through the motions" to create a piece I admire! Well, I think everyone has very different reasons why to create art, and are inspired by very different things as well.

I have found myself in a tough situation. I don't really know what drives me to create art. I am having a hard time pin-pointing what inspires me. Why am I a photographer? I like weddings, people, nature, etc, but not to the point where I need to follow those things around with a camera! It must go beyond that!

I write this month's blog not as an opinion on something really, nor with a solution to my presented quandary; I am posing the following question with the hope that in a couple of days, or a week, or a month I can come to a clear conclusion and write about it:
"What am I trying to express with my photography? What drives me?"
